I'm a Birmingham-based REALTOR®, real estate investor, and hard money loan consultant affiliated with Longhorn Investments. I help Alabama investors evaluate opportunities, understand financing options, and navigate the lending process. Longhorn is the lender and makes underwriting and approval decisions.
My background spans both sides of the transaction. As a REALTOR® with Southern State Homes / eXp Realty, I've worked enough deals to understand what investors actually need from their lender: speed, certainty, and someone who picks up the phone.
As an investor myself, I know how much timing matters. Eligible Longhorn transactions may close in as few as 5 business days once documentation, appraisal, title, insurance, and underwriting requirements are satisfied. Actual timelines depend on the transaction. 100% purchase + approved rehab financing is available for eligible projects within Longhorn's ARV limits and subject to underwriting; closing costs and other expenses may require cash. Longhorn reviews supporting borrower and property information. Ask which financial documents your program requires. Confirm early-payoff charges and any minimum-interest requirement in your loan documents.
